Dear Robert,

I have been planning to write you for a long time. Your pedal-power system has given my wife and me more pleasure than you will ever imagine. It has been a great way for us to enjoy the lakes and rivers in our area.

Your craftsmanship is remarkable. Every time I take out our canoe, I renew my appreciation for what you have done.

You certainly have added pleasure to a lot of people's lives. Some of the reasons we enjoy our pedal-powered canoe are the following:

	Peacefulness -- It is nice not to have to listen to or smell a motor.
	Bicycle handlebars make steering much easier than steering a canoe.
	Because leg muscles are usually stronger, we are able to pedal longer without fatigue.
	One person pedaling equals two people with paddles. On choppy waters, one person pedaling is slightly more efficient than two people with paddles.
	Having your hands free is a big advantage. We eat our lunch, fish, look through binoculars, and take pictures while pedaling.
	Another big advantage your invention has over typical canoes is that one person is allowed to relax, or take a nap for that matter, while the other person pedals.
